Suitable for silk, muslin, wool fleece, English Leicester fleece, knitting wool and wool felt. Packet will dye strong colours of 500 grams dry weight material, softer colours use less dye. These dyes are great for using on the wool felt as you can achieve great results with little effort. Combined with the painting powder, cold water dyes allows you to paint dye straight onto the fabric. Using painting powder also allows you to use less dye and to get a stronger colour. These dyes can be used to paint dye onto knitting wool for a variegated or colour wash effect. Instructions for using dyes will be included. Please note: if you wish to follow my instructions you will need to purchase sodium carbonate and painting powder.
