The SOHMO Mini Scissors Needle Minder is a miniature enamel replica of SOHMO’s Italian-made, 24k gold-handled tailoring shears – scaled down to 45mm, and fitted with two small but strong magnets that hold your needle securely between stitches.
The mechanism works the same way as any magnetic needle minder: place the enamel face on top of your fabric, tuck the magnetic backing plate underneath, and the two connect through the fabric. Your needle parks on the scissors face between stitches and stays there.
A note on the magnets: this design uses two 3mm magnets rather than the single 10mm magnet on our round enamel designs – chosen to suit the narrow scissor shape while maintaining a reliable hold through standard embroidery fabrics and quilt tops.
